The material is set up in such a way that participants can spend roughly 30 minutes per day for five days interacting with biblical principles on leadership and related topics. Participants then gather together for their weekly meeting and share their discoveries, as well as their personal issues and prayer requests.

Co-facilitators follow the same material as the other participants, but also have access to a Leader's Guide for each week of each module. CLC curriculum is only available to those who have committed to the two year curriculum.

CLC Next Steps Curriculum

CLC Next Steps is a one-year relational, leadership program for men. It is designed to continue the CLC discipleship process and thus is post CLC “graduate school”. As such, it recommends that the participants have completed CLC’s 2-year program. Next Steps has great flexibility, a group can start with as few as five participants and one administrative facilitator. The format is very similar to the original CLC as it incorporates Bible study, memorization, auxiliary reading of major Christian authors and interaction among group member during and outside of the weekly meeting.
